Description: Understanding ACH products (i.e. Standard Entry Class “SEC” Codes) is important for treasury sales professionals, aspiring AAPs, and payments professionals alike. This session reviews various SEC Codes with a focus on sales and marketing points that can be used when discussing ACH origination with prospective Originators. Not only is ensuring there is a clear understanding of when it is appropriate to use a particular SEC Code good customer service, but it’s also a good risk management practice. This session also includes a high-level review of the requirements associated with originating each SEC Code.
