This session explores the ins and outs of the Standard Entry Class ("SEC") Codes by reviewing when it is appropriate to use each SEC Code, what form of authorization is used, what formatting considerations exist, and much more. During this session, you will learn about consumer SEC Codes such as PPD, WEB, TEL, POS, CIE, and RCK, as well as non-consumer SEC Codes such as CCD and CTX. There are also several SEC Codes that may be used for both consumers and non-consumers in certain circumstances, including ARC, BOC, POP, and IAT. This session also includes appendices with information about Financial EDI applications and infrequently used SEC Codes.
