Description: Effectively managing payments risk is crucial for organizations that provide payment services. The first session focuses on identifying and managing various types of risk, including cross-channel risk and vendor/third-party risk. We’ll explore how to define risk appetite and align it with internal policies. Attendees will gain insight into the key elements typically found within specific risk-related policies, and how effective procedures can support those policies. Recommended procedures for different payment channels will be shared. In the second session, we’ll examine the roles and responsibilities of key organizational units in risk oversight, including the Board of Directors, CEO, Senior Management, and Shareholders. We’ll also discuss compliance considerations for financial institutions and the critical role of education in maintaining a culture of compliance. The session will conclude with a focus on Business Continuity Management (BCM), covering the BCM cycle, development steps, and the importance of regular testing to ensure organizational resilience.
