This session also introduces the concept of Third-Parties, including both Third-Party Senders and Nested Third-Party Senders.

  • ACH Agreement Essentials - 60 min
    • The Nacha Operating Rules require ACH Origination Agreements be in place between various participants, including ODFIs and Originators, ODFIs and Third-Party Senders, Third-Party Senders and Originators, Third-Party Senders and Nested Third-Party Senders, and ODFIs and Sending Points. However, the Rules require certain provisions be included in each unique type of agreement. Join us as we explore what the Rules require so you can make sure you are staying compliant.

  • Managing Risk in the ACH Network - 90 min
    • Various types of risk exist within all payment systems, and the ACH Network is no exception. During this session, we will break down five primary types of risk: operational, fraud, credit, compliance, and systemic. In addition to these primary risks, ancillary risks may also exist. Whether you are an aspiring AAP or a payments professional, it’s important that you understand the concepts of risk—both primary and ancillary—as well as effective controls to help mitigate risk to an acceptable level.
