Description: We often hear discussion about revisions to the Nacha Operating Rules, but do you understand the process of how rulemaking works in the ACH Network? During this session, we discuss how new Nacha Operating Rules are developed, and we also discuss a series of recent Requests for Comment and Requests for Information released by Nacha. In May 2023, Nacha released nine proposed revisions to the Rules, as well as four Requests for Information – primarily in response to the Risk Management Framework for the Era of Credit-Push Fraud.
NOTE: This session is part of a series of Open Forum webinars included in our AAP Exam Prep Series. As such, the session may include references to candidates studying for the AAP exam, study tips for the AAP exam, and a series of questions and answers from exam candidates.
