This session includes the following scenarios:
- A consumer’s check is converted to an ARC (Accounts Receivable Entry), but they later request to stop the payment. This segment examines how RDFIs should determine the appropriate ACH return reason code, considering the nuances of check conversion.
- An Originator plans to pay sales staff on the 1st of each month. But what happens when that date lands on a weekend or holiday? We explore timing implications, processing options, and best practices to ensure timely payroll delivery.
- An Originator receives multiple ACH debit returns marked R07 (Authorization Revoked), yet the Receiver’s Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit (WSUD) shows no actual revocation before the entries were initiated. This session discusses potential recourse, dispute resolution, and compliance considerations.
