Attention BSA Officers!  We are bringing back our 3-part Summer BSA Series again this year.  These sessions will be helpful to anyone working in operations, especially those on the BSA team.  Topics will include FinCEN requirements and working with high-risk communities within your account base.  Join us for the series or individual sessions.

BSA Summer #1 - August 16:

Session Title: Synergizing Strategies: Collaboration Between BSA & Operations
Description: Join us as we discuss key strategies and ways that BSA Officers and operations staff can work together on their overlapping responsibilities to ensure adequate oversight and compliance within a financial institution. We will discuss how Nacha’s Risk Management Framework, OFAC compliance, and employee training can be improved with cooperation and collaboration with the BSA and operations areas of your institution.

BSA Summer #3 - August 30:

Session Title: High-Risk Communities
Description: "High-Risk Communities" - a segment of a financial institution's account holders that is more unique in how they bank.  Many cultural events (weddings, funerals, etc.) involve a great deal of cash.  This session will dive into how one financial institution uses that information in risk rating their account holders and monitor account activity based on how they use their accounts.
