Event Description

On March 15, 2024, Nacha’s voting membership approved 15 revisions to the Nacha Operating Rules. Most of the changes are intended to reduce the incidence of fraud, such as Business Email Compromise (BEC), that makes use of credit-push payments. The new rules establish a base level of ACH payment monitoring on all parties in the ACH Network (except consumers). While the new rules do not shift liability for ACH payments, for the first time, receiving financial institutions (RDFIs) will have a defined role in monitoring the ACH payments they receive. These recently approved ACH Rule changes will impact all ODFIs, RDFIs, Non-Consumer Originators, Third-Party Service Providers, and Third-Party Senders.

Since the announcement of these new Nacha Operating Rules until now, the industry has had an opportunity to reflect on the changes and ask relevant questions about implementing and complying with these new rules. During this session, we will not only explore each of the recently approved revisions and discuss how they could impact your organization, but we will also address many of the frequently asked questions regarding these rules, ensuring that your organization is ready for implementation.

We are hosting identical webinar sessions on August 7th and August 28th.
